Our block of cricket, at the Wednesday Evening fixtures, has now come to an end, concluding the 2018/19 Wednesday Evening fixtures and Sporting Influences competitions for the academic year.
What a fantastic block it has been. The children have learned skills as the professionals would and then they have applied them in competitive match situations against other schools.
The final plea from Mr Doey last night was that the children who attended and are interested, please find a local cricket club and play cricket. There was so much skill on show it would put the World Cup to shame; diving stops, sliding, one handed catching, off stump bowling and some clean hitting.
We have done the hard work for you. Take a look below at local cricket clubs and their respective websites for you to get in contact!
