The decision has been made following on from the news, local schools will be creating childcare hubs for vulnerable children and children of key workers. We felt at this time, rather than encourage children to gather and be active at our camp, it is better for children to be active at home following activity programmes and video challenges that we will be releasing. We believe this is the right thing to do as a collective group and company. We do apologise to those families that had already booked on before everything changed in recent days. |
We feel that we should be making ourselves available to the schools that have been told to stay open and will therefore be volunteering to help the schools and children of key workers in what is a difficult time for them.
The Sporting Influence team will be out in schools from next week. This decision has been made following the government guidelines regarding social distancing. |
Social distancing measures are steps you can take to reduce the social interaction between people. This will help reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19). They are:
Everyone should be trying to follow these measures as much as is practicable.
For anyone who has booked on, you will receive a voucher credit code by the middle of next week. If you would like to speak to Sporting Influence about this please contact us via the link below. NOTE: Anyone who has paid via Childcare Vouchers cannot receive a monetary refund. |
This has been a horrible decision to make but we feel at this time, we need to pull together and help everybody that we can. Sporting Influence will be in the community next week, working at ‘School Hubs’ to support those children of key workers and hopefully we will be back to normality by May Half Term. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. Please keep yourselves and family members safe during these tough times! Keep your eyes peeled for our home video challenges! |
