Starbeck was a new school for Mrs Wilcox this year but the school have been working with Sporting Influence for a number of years.
This year we have been involved in a number of different projects, starting with some team competitions and then each class had some CPD. This term a group of year 2’s and year 6’s have participated in Sports Numeracy. They have been so engaged, practicing their maths with different fun activities.
After school clubs have included netball and gymnastics and all involved have had great fun, including Mrs Wilcox.
We are always so impressed with the enthusiasm for PE and sport at Starbeck and love delivering our lessons there.
