National Fitness Day

National Fitness Day 2019 was on Wednesday 25th September! We took it upon ourselves to educate and inspire the children we teach every week with some fitness themed warm ups.

One warm up which we tried to incorporate into every lesson was the 30 Rep Challenge. Children must move around a marked area. Upon hearing the signal, children must find a partner and compete against them in a challenge which lasts for 30 repetitions. The first to complete 30 reps is the winner. Some the the challenges were: Star Jumps, Plank High 5’s, Foot Kicks, Press Ups, Sit Ups & Burpees.

Take a look at some of the images below to see how this looked!!!

Improving social skills through sport

Sporting Influence Activity Camps are a fun and safe environment for your children to learn and develop social skills during the school holidays. Our Camps are always inclusive and we love having a wide range of children from different backgrounds and children who enjoy a range of sports and activities.

Sporting Influence After School Clubs are a fun and exciting hour of games, sports and activities to engage children in disguised learning and exercise. Playing a wide range of games and sports (club dependant) the children will work on specific skills all underpinned by our five social skills.
