We are thrilled to announce our exciting new partnership with Evolve Psychology Services. Together, we aim to promote inclusivity, mental well-being, and the vital role of physical activity in the lives of neurodivergent children.
For Sporting Influence Foundation, this partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to ensure that ALL children can access sport and activity, regardless of their background or needs. School holidays can be a time of loneliness for many children, and the Sporting Influence Camps aim to combat that by providing an inclusive, fun, and active environment. This partnership with Evolve Psychology enables us to extend that reach even further, ensuring more children experience the joys and benefits of sport.
Evolve Psychology Services shares our passion for supporting children and young people. A spokesperson for Evolve shared their excitement about the collaboration:
"At Evolve, we know how important it is for everyone to access sport, and we’re excited to announce that Evolve Psychology Services is partnering with the Sporting Influence Foundation to help open up the conversation around inclusivity in sports. Together, we’ll be raising awareness about the positive impact of physical activity on mental well-being, confidence, and connection for children and young people."
This partnership will also focus on promoting the importance of physical activity as a tool to help neurodivergent children regulate their emotions and find a positive outlet. Through sport, children can build confidence, improve mental well-being, and foster social connections, creating a ripple effect that enhances their overall development.
Neil Atkinson, representing the Sporting Influence Foundation, expressed the significance of this collaboration:
"This is a great opportunity for us to work with another amazing local business who, just like us, put children and their needs first. We hope that this partnership will allow us to not only provide a space for neurodivergent children to access sport and activity but also, in time, allow Evolve to conduct research into the role that sport can play for neurodiverse children."
The collaboration is about more than just access—it’s about changing the conversation around inclusivity in sports. By joining forces, we hope to shine a light on the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent children and emphasise the ways in which sport can serve as a powerful tool for growth and connection.
Through this partnership, Evolve Psychology Services will also raise awareness about the broader benefits of physical activity for children, ensuring that families, schools, and communities understand the importance of creating inclusive sporting opportunities.
We are immensely proud to partner with a like-minded organisation committed to making a difference. Together, we are taking a significant step toward ensuring that every child, regardless of their neurodiversity, can experience the joy and benefits of being active. This is not just about sports; it’s about building a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
