Grewelthorpe School of the Week

Mr Whitford always looks forward to Tuesday's when he gets to work with the wonderful children at Grewelthorpe. We have worked with Grewelthopre over the last 4 years, with children accessing a wide range of our PE Provision.

In curriculum time Mr Whitford teaches all of the classes each Tuesday. Class 1, 2 and 3 are all developing their skills in Gymnastics, starting by developing their core shapes with the older children looking at how they can be used in different ways such as jumping and rolling. Class 4 have been delayed by the weather in starting their hockey, we're looking forward to getting started when the weather improves!

Grewelthorpe also attend our Ripon Cluster competitions where they attending KS2 Football and Y5/6 Netball in the Autumn term. The Y5/6 Football team qualified for the Football finals where they will play against the winners of the other cluster competitions. This will take place at Ashville College later in the year. Additionally, Mr Atkinson has led Children's First Aid to all of the children, raising awareness of how to keep themselves safe and basic first aid procedures. 

We're looking forward to continuing to work with the school over the coming years!
