Introducing the Play 2 EmpowHER Initiative by Sporting Influence Foundation

Sporting Influence Foundation is proud to launch the Play 2 EmpowHER initiative, aimed at narrowing the gap between female and male participation in sport. Designed for girls aged 8-12 (Years 3-7) who have drifted away from physical activity due to self-confidence issues or other factors, this programme seeks to reignite their passion for sport.

Through Play 2 EmpowHER, the Foundation is visiting schools during term time, delivering targeted sports sessions that prepare girls to represent their schools in local competitions. These sessions are designed to boost confidence, encourage teamwork, and break down the barriers that often discourage girls from continuing with sport.

During the school holidays, Sporting Influence Foundation will collaborate with Sporting Influence to offer a FREE girls-only sports group, ensuring access to sport in a supportive, all-female environment. This group will focus on making sports fun, inclusive, and empowering, helping participants rediscover their love for physical activity.
