National Fitness Day 2019 was on Wednesday 25th September! We took it upon ourselves to educate and inspire the children we teach every week with some fitness themed warm ups.
One warm up which we tried to incorporate into every lesson was the 30 Rep Challenge. Children must move around a marked area. Upon hearing the signal, children must find a partner and compete against them in a challenge which lasts for 30 repetitions. The first to complete 30 reps is the winner. Some the the challenges were: Star Jumps, Plank High 5's, Foot Kicks, Press Ups, Sit Ups & Burpees.
