School of the Week - Admiral Long

This week, we’re celebrating Admiral Long CE Primary
School as our School of the Week! Pupils across the school
have shown amazing determination and respect during their PE
lessons. Class 1 have enjoyed developing their coordination
through football based multi-skills activities. Class 2 and 3 have
been working hard on their football skills, showing great
teamwork and excellent social skills, particularly in how they
support each other.

Staff have also engaged in valuable CPD to support high-
quality PE delivery across the curriculum. We’re really looking
forward to continuing this progress and exploring a wider range
of sports including Gaelic Football.

Last week all the children participated in a Well-being morning
including meditation, mindful colouring and a Well-being walk.
We fully emersed ourselves into the environment and looked
for things we would have normally miss in our busy lives.
