This weeks school of the week is Moorside Primary School and Nursery. Mr Doey has been delivering again this year starting with invasion games preparing the children for sports such as football, rugby, netball, basketball. The children did a great job and really developed their learning and understanding around attack and defence as a team.
Prior to Christmas the KS2 children developed their own games looking at rules and how to make these games challenging and accessable for all, whilst the KS1 children focused on following instructions, teamwork and communication.
This half term all children Mr Doey is working with are focusing on gymnastics building their control, strength and coordination.
Mr Doey can't wait to continue the teaching for the rest of the year.
