This week, we’re celebrating Starbeck Primary Academy as our School of the Week!
This term Years 2 and 6 have been using activities and games to practice and improve their key maths skills. The children love all the games and have shown excellent determination and enthusiasm for their learning.
This year has seen Starbeck participate in our Tuesday evening competitions for the first time. They have done a brilliant job approaching this new challenge with great resilience and confidence. I was so impressed by the attitude of the Year 5 & 6 girls, especially in the wind and rain this week.
The afterschool clubs have been very popular and have often led up to the competitions. This half term the Year 2’s have had a great time learning new gymnastics skills.
